Sound of Luxury Episode 1 // SexyParis

It had been a long time I wanted to discover Paris' finest cabaret "Crazy Horse".The Crazy Horse is the ancestor of all your favourite strip clubs in Vegas and New York.Naked girls elegantly dressed in colourful rays of lights, dancing for our deepest pleasure while drinking Champagne. Crazy horse is the signature of what Paris used to be in the 70's : a glamourous, fashionable yet traditional city. "Désir" is the new show and it's really amazing.

Shooting my first episode was the occasion for me to re-discover Paris by night in a limo, riding under the enlighted Eiffel Tower, driving down the Champs Elysees, looking at the windows on Avenue Montaigne : I cannot wait to edit the footage so you can share this with me.

We discoverd Jacques Genin himself and his Chocolate atelier. Jacques' secret is very simple : bringing the freshest chocolate ever by bringing a fresh new stock each morning : well done Jacques, in years of eating the best chocolates in every country, I have never discovered such refined chocolates. Hévin isn't bad either but Jacques has much more choice, I give an A, like absolut A.

I ate at Drouant famous for hosting annualy French litterary price "Prix Goncourt". The lunch menu was quite boring and heavy, very traditional French, but the cod and seafood risotto was cooked perfectly and really delicious. Deserts were amazing too, perfectly made, but there was no inch of creativity.

We went shooping at Colette one of the trendiest multibrand store in Europe. Their make up section was really impressive and I spotted a very nice tool for creating music. My friend loved one of their orange fluorescent handbag. Surprinsinglly, I was welcomed by their lovely PR Guillaume Salmon, very professional and really down to earth.

We stayed at Murano's Hotel Resort : it was fun playing with the Dj decks in the restaurant but staying in this hotel made me feel nostalgic : it's like time stopped 12 years ago. From the decor to Sandra the bitchy PR, the food menu, the lights, the bathrobe, nothing adjusted to 2012, everything feels like 2000 : I did have a lot of fun playing with the retro-lights on top of the bed, but I got scared when the nasty blond woman at the front charged me $30 for some rotten chocolate I was forced to pay for, after Jacques Genin, that was tough.... This is a Z

Thanks god Tea at Dammann Frères is really delicious in the 5th arrondissement.
